MRK3 --  SHIVA - One of the three aspects (creation, preservation, destruction) of the One Divine Power. Brahma is known as the creator, Vishnu as the preserver and Shiva is the destroyer in the natural cycle of the universe. But Shiva is also considered the creative, vigorous power that pervades all life and without Shiva there would be no life. The alternating rhythms of the dancing Shiva reveal themselves in the rhythms of the seasons and biological processes. Shiva's dance is the orderly dance of life, nature, and the physical cosmos. Shiva is also the divine model of yoga and is often pictured in isolated meditation.
